Recipe – Rice Kheer

Milk
Rice
Sugar
Cardamom Powder
Cashews & Almonds.

Process:-

Heat milk in a wide pan and let it come to a boil.

Rinse & soak basmati rice for 30 mins

Drain the rice and add it to the simmering milk

Add sugar and on a low flame let the rice cook in the milk

Add elaichi (Cardamom) powder

Add peeled sliced almonds & cashews. You may also add some saffron.

Cook till thickened to the desired consistency, switch off the fire and add raisins.
